it was a tough call but the strain that the car encounter did to the inside of my left leg has caught up with me. When the mirror caught me just after Mackenzie pass turnoff it knocked me hard to the right and as I came off my pedals the left was torqued pretty hard clipped in. I thought at first everything was just some muscle aches but there are sharp pains in my knee, calf, and ankle. These thing will heal in time I’m sure. When I was at the ER in John Day I’m sure the Dt saw my stubbornness when I was goi g to ride another 13 miles at 10:30 pm to get to the next town. She said I would probabaly have some tough decisions to make in the next few days and here I am.
